Talks and workshops in your community

I don’t just write and share resources online, I get out into the real world too… and often! I live in Perth, Western Australia and that’s where most of my talks and workshops are held, but I do sometimes go further afield – I’ve spoken at events in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia. You can catch me talking about all the topics I write about here: plastic-free living, zero waste and low waste lifestyles, decluttering, reducing food waste and all things sustainable living. Most of my events are free to attend, or low cost.

For those further afield, I also deliver webinars.

If you’d like to invite me to your workplace or organisation please get in touch and I will send you my latest Workshops and Speaking List.

February

Sustainable Habits – in person event

Wednesday, 8th February 2023

Time: 9am – 10.30am

Venue: 5Four Store, 71 Old Perth Road, Bassendean

We want to do more for the environment, lower our carbon footprint, perhaps use less plastic, but how do we feel less overwhelmed, how do we get started, and more importantly, how do we keep going?

In this workshop, which builds on recognized behaviour change principles,
we’ll cover how to set ourselves up to succeed, how to design goals that we can meet, and why there’s no such thing as lacking willpower (it’s true!).

Participants will leave with a clear goal to work towards and a clearer plan of how to get there.

Cost: $5, includes a coffee/tea. Registrations required.

Hosted by Town of Bassendean
